Dr. Lana Huddleston Jared is a lifelong resident of Putnam County and a proud graduate of Upperman High School (Class of 2000). She went on to earn dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. Lana continued her education at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis, where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2010. Following graduation, she completed a Post-Graduate Year One Residency with the Veterans Affairs Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in 2011.

With a diverse background spanning community, hospital, and primary care pharmacy, Lana brings both expertise and compassion to her work at Baxter Pharmacy. She is passionate about serving her patients with excellence while fostering a spirit of care and connection within the Baxter community.

Lana and her husband, Houston, were married on December 13, 2014, and together they have two children, Grace and Timothy. Houston serves as a pastor in the Baxter area, and the Jared family is deeply rooted in their faith—committed to serving others and standing firm on the Word of God.
